Cancer-Targeted Drug Therapy "Life-Saving Straw" for Advanced Cancer Patients

As the second leading cause of death in the world, 22,000 people die from cancer every day. Cancer has seriously threatened human health and life. According to the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), about 80% of cancers are related to the environment and lifestyle, but 1/3 of cancer is preventable. Cancer-targeted drugs that destroy cancer cells are considered to be "life-saving straws" for advanced cancer patients.

Now the most popular PD1-PDL1 immunotherapy is a broad-spectrum anti-tumor method that can treat multiple types of cancer and effectively improve the overall survival of patients. Currently, PD1-PDL1 immunotherapy has an effective rate of 30% for lung cancer and 50% for bladder cancer. At present, five major PD1/PD-L1 cancer immune drugs have been approved for marketing.
